CHICKABALLAPUR, June 23: The pilgrim centre of Kaivara in Chintamani taluk of Chickaballapur district will play host to a unique three-day music festival. The festival will begin on July 5. Some 15 troupes of Hindustani and Carnatic musicians and 25 naadaswara troupes from across the country would render 72 hours of non-stop music at the Sangeetothsava and Guru Puja, to be held at Sri Yogi Nareyana Yathindra Ashram at Kaivara.To mark the occasion, 24 Yathindra “keerthanas” would be released by Kalanidhi Srinedhunoori Krishna Murthy of Andhra Pradesh. Around 400 musicians would simultaneously render pancharathna keerthanas.
