CHENNAI, December 14: Bombay Jayashri Ramnath is a renowned artiste and needs no introduction. She is a disciple of Lalgudi G.Jayaraman and learnt her basic music lessons from T.R. Balamani of Mumbai. She is a sought after artiste in the Carnatic music field and captivated the audience with her unique and creative rendering. Apart from this, she has also composed music for a dance ballet, ‘Silappadikaram’. Recently, she had also conducted a workshop for music students titled ‘Svanubhava’ with vocalist T.M. Krishna in Chennai. Along with T.M. Krishna, she has starred in film titled `Margazhi Raagam’, the first-of-its kind featuring Carnatic concert in film. The maiden film is set for global launch this week. Her concert schedule for the season is given below.
