Chennai, May 2: B. Suvasini, a 15-year-old student of SBSM Senior
Secondary School, West Mambalam, will present a vocal music
performance this Sunday morning (4th May) at 6.30 am at the
monthly mikeless 'Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park'
at the Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore.
Suvasini has been learning music from Mrs. Lalitha Ramachandran. She also plays the violin. Suvasini will be accompanied on the violin by Shyam and on the Mridangam by Narayanan.
Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park, started in February 2006, is intended to provide a launch pad for artistes aged below 15 years to showcase their musical talents and encourage them to perform sans inhibition in an open air environment.
The Sunday Kutcheri takes place on the 1st Sunday of every month between 6.30 am and 7.30 am. For registration and audition, interested students / schools can contact: 94440 40748.
