Lalgudi Jayaraman To Set Up Endowment In Music Academy

CHENNAI, March 10: Violin maestro Lalgudi G. Jayaraman has decided
to institute an endowment in Music Academy.
This was disclosed by N. Murali, President of Music Academy, at a function organized here on Sunday to confer the Lifetime Achievement Award on Lalgudi Jayaraman.
Disclosing this during the course of his welcome address, Mr. Murali said Lalgudi Jayaraman had decided to set up the endowment in the name of his father. Mr. Murali informed the gathering that the details of the endowment would be announced later.
